About the role
The HR Operations Coordinator supports the day-to-day operational functions of the HR team at Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH), a company formed in 2021 dedicated to enhancing Minor League Baseball through best practices, professional management, innovation, and investment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate employee data and data integrity across HR and payroll systems for full-time and seasonal workers
- Process routine data transactions including new hires, terminations, status changes, and position updates
- Auxiliary data imports and exports; flag and resolve data discrepancies in partnership with the HRIS Lead
- Assist with system configuration and testing as directed
- Support the preparation of recurring HR reports and response to ad hoc data requests
- Assist with annual and ad hoc audits including Workers' Compensation and ACA
- Support government filings, tax registrations, and garnishment processing
- Maintain compliance tracking logs and documentation
- Develop and maintain HR process documentation, SOPs, and training resources to support self-service
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and support process improvement initiatives
- Provide frontline HR system support for employees and managers
- Partner with the HR team on onboarding, offboarding, and other recurring HR processes
Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of HRIS experience; Paychex and/or Paycom experience strongly preferred
- Excel skills required; must be comfortable with VLOOKUPs, IF statements, descriptive statistics, and pivot tables
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of labor law compliance and HR best practices
- PREFERRED: Experience with more than one HRIS platform, exposure to payroll processing from a systems or data perspective, Basic Accounting or General Ledger knowledge, Experience supporting HR audits or compliance filings, Background in HR operations, people operations, or HR administration
