About the role

We are seeking a Group Home Coordinator for our adult ID/DD group home in Kingman, Arizona. This safety-sensitive position ensures smooth day-to-day operations of the group home program, supports a high quality of life for residents, and meets each individual’s person-centered needs. The role provides leadership and support to Direct Support Professional staff and the people we serve.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support the residential group home program by implementing the RISE mission, vision, and values.
• Recruit, hire, coach, train, and supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSP), including performance management.
• Oversee and manage company and program records, including payroll and billing documentation.
• Ensure programs meet licensing, survey requirements, and contractual compliance.
• Demonstrate competency in financial and budgetary issues.
• Assist residents with daily living supports, community access, medication, and medical issues as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in compliance with all policies, procedures, and AZ Department of Economic Security, Division of Developmental Disabilities regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all RISE and Arizona State DDD regulations and policies.

Requirements

• Desire, interest, and experience working with people with disabilities or special needs.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least two (2) years of combined work and supervisory experience in home care support services.
• Experience providing person-centered philosophy for individuals with developmental and physical disabilities in a long-term setting.
• Dedication to quality support, self-motivation, honesty, dependability, and flexibility.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours and be on call.
• Self-directed with minimal supervision.

Additional Requirements

• Valid Arizona driver’s license, minimum age of 21, and meet driver requirements as specified by RISE Insurance Agency.
• Successful background check, driving record check, and obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
