Job Description

MUST HAVE OPEN SCHEDULING (INCLUDING WEEKENDS)

Responsible for

• Executing receiving and merchandising standards
• Ensuring Associates process efficiently and effectively
• Engaging and interacting with all customers
• Maintaining a clean and organized store
• Creating a positive internal and external customer experience
• Promoting a culture of honesty and integrity
• Maintaining confidentiality
• Orchestrating truck delivery
• Training and mentoring Associates
• Ensuring merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
• Communicating with the Coordinator on Duty
• Maintaining productivity of team and coaching as necessary
• Maintaining back stock for easy replenishment
• Maintaining merchandising philosophy and signage standards
• Maintaining organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards
• Maintaining compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs
• Communicating with management and Associates
• Providing and accepting recognition and feedback
• Partnering with Management on training needs
• Maintaining adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Promoting credit and loyalty programs
• Supporting and participating in store shrink reduction goals
• Promoting safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment

• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Capable of multi-tasking
• Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
• Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
• Able to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
• Able to train others
• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience
