Duties/Responsibilities
- Cookbook assignment and coordination of field placements for candidates
- Maintain partnerships with PK-12 schools and districts for diverse, high-quality placement sites
- Ensure placements comply with state, district, and university regulations and policies
- Serve as primary liaison between EPP and school-based partners
- Provide clear, timely communication to candidates regarding placement and certification processes
- Monitor placement quality and serve as a point of contact for troubleshooting candidate and partner concerns
- Collaborate with internal departments to support candidate success
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
- 5+ years’ experience working in PK–12 education or educator preparation programs
- P-12 school and/or higher education administrative experience
- Knowledge of NYS teacher certification/licensure requirements and processes
- Familiarity with accreditation standards (e.g., CAEP or state agencies)
- Experience working with data systems or student information systems
