Coordinator Emergency Transport (EMT, Dispatch)

Essential Responsibilities

• Captures communications from EMS providers and referral agencies to relevant areas within WPAHS.
• Directs ground and air notifications for incoming ambulances.
• Assigns specialty teams within WPAHS facilities.
• Records all activities in the communication center.
• Communicates directly with security staff and dispatches officers as necessary.
• Maintains safety and security within designated areas.
• Performs additional duties as directed or needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of an EMT program.
• EMT or Paramedic license or EMS Compact Privilege to Practice in Pennsylvania.
• Prior dispatching experience in an EMS agency or emergency operations center is preferred.
