Coordinator Emergency Transport (Dispatch) Jefferson Hospital, Part-time

Essential Responsibilities

• Captures and relays communications from EMS providers and referral agencies to relevant departments.
• Directs ground and air notifications for incoming ambulances.
• Dispatches specialized teams within WPAHS facilities as needed.
• Inputs data for all activities conducted in the communication center.
• Communicates directly with security staff and dispatches officers as necessary.
• Maintains vigilance over safety and security within designated areas.

Qualifications

• Completion of an EMT program.
• Pennsylvania EMT or Paramedic license or EMS Compact Privilege to Practice.
• Preferred experience in dispatching for an EMS agency or emergency operations center.
