Coordinator 1-Receiving - 2nd shift
About the Role
Verifies and maintains records on incoming and outgoing shipments for production. Receives material for production, ensuring the contents are accurate and shipped to the appropriate location. Creates DRP outbound, pull slips, and carton labels. Bills outbound DRP’s as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Receives and inventories products shipped to the warehouse by common carriers.
- Maintains and files paperwork received from common carriers.
- Maintains office files including load sheets and all office logs.
- Communicates with supervisors, peers, and subordinates regarding discrepancies of inventory.
- Pulls sample requests for Purchasing, Quality Assurance, and Research and Development as a back-up for the Receiving Clerk II.
Requirements
- Warehouse experience is preferred.
- Able to read, write, and speak English is required.
- English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.
- Knowledge of clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, spreadsheets, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures as necessary.
- Knowledge of principles to provide customer service.
- Ability to speak, listen, use critical thinking skills, and read to understand.
Working Conditions
- Office and Warehouse environment.
- The environment will be wet and cold with temperatures ranging from 25°F to 70°F.
- Repetitive hand, wrist, and finger activities.
- Production demands may require overtime and/or evening or weekend scheduling.
