Catholic Charities is looking for a Coordinated Entry System (CES) Navigator to connect people with housing and community resources while strengthening partnerships throughout Southeast Kansas. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working directly with people, building community partnerships, and bringing organizations together to solve problems. What You Will Do: Engage individuals and families experiencing homelessness and connect them to the Coordinated Entry SystemComplete intake, assessments, referrals, and required documentationConnect participants with housing, healthcare, mental health services, benefits, and other community resourcesCoordinate with housing and service providers throughout Southeast KansasLead case conferencing meetings and participate in regional planning effortsHelp ensure people with the greatest needs are prioritized for available housing opportunitiesBuild relationships with landlords and community partners to expand housing opportunitiesMaintain accurate and timely participant data and documentationParticipate in community outreach and activities such as the Point-in-Time Count as needed Your Superpowers: You build strong relationships with people and community partnersYou're compassionate, professional, and comfortable working with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and circumstancesYou're organized and can manage multiple priorities without losing track of the detailsYou communicate clearly, whether one-on-one, in writing, or leading a meetingYou're a problem solver who can connect people with the right resourcesYou're comfortable using technology and maintaining accurate informationKnowledge of homelessness, housing programs, Coordinated Entry, or HMIS is a plus What You Will Need to Bring to the Table: Bachelor's degree in human services or relevant experience in social work or a related fieldAt least two years of professional experience in housing, social work, employment services, human services, or a related field preferredExperience working with individuals and families facing economic hardship or other barriersStrong computer skills, including Microsoft OfficeClass C driver's license, reliable vehicle, and automobile insuranceAbility to successfully complete required background screening Why Catholic Charities?
