Coor Campus Assessment

About the Role

The Campus Assessment Coordinator will serve as the school test coordinator and a member of the school's continuous improvement leadership team. This role involves analyzing data related to school performance, individual student achievement, and instructional improvement. The coordinator will oversee intervention, remediation, and tutoring activities at the school site and serve as a liaison between the Department of Accountability, the Department of Testing, and the campus administrative team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as school test coordinator for all national and state assessments except AP tests.
• Coordinate and implement building-level testing procedures and protocols for state testing.
• Assist administration in reporting irregularities and maintain security of testing materials.
• Prepare all necessary orders for testing materials and maintain records of students using substitute tests for credits.
• Analyze national, state, and local assessment data as it relates to the school, individual achievement, and instructional improvement.
• Review assessment data with teachers individually and with departments, grade levels, or instructional teams.
• Assist with data collection and analysis associated with the Campus Improvement Plan.
• Attend training sessions and site meetings related to assigned responsibilities.
• Serve as a trained facilitator at the school site in areas related to assigned responsibilities.
• Act as liaison between the school administration and central office administration.
• Collaborate with administration to develop and implement site-based professional development.
• Plan and coordinate school intervention, remediation, and tutorial programs, including:
  • Identification of students eligible for services based on data analysis.
  • Identification of appropriate remediation services.
  • Communication with parents.
  • Scheduling of activities.
  • Maintaining all necessary records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Valid Texas Teacher Certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of successful classroom instruction, testing, tutoring, and/or remediation services.

Working Conditions

The work environment includes classrooms, offices, work stations, and meeting rooms. The position requires:

• Occasional walking, standing, sitting, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling.
• Lifting and carrying work-related items weighing less than 40 pounds, such as books, papers, and presentation materials.
• Regular use of hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reaching with hands and arms; talking or hearing.
• Specific vision abilities, including close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Attendance at conferences and professional development.
• Ability to work prolonged or irregular hours and maintain emotional control under stress.
• Sufficient voice modulation to conduct discussions and mobility to move about halls, campus grounds, cafeteria, etc., to monitor activities.

Work involves everyday risks and discomforts which require normal safety precautions when operating equipment or performing job duties.

Schedule

School Year 2026-2027 (210-day calendar, August start).
