About the role

Meadow Gold Dairy in Billings, MT has immediate job openings for fast-paced and motivated warehouse operators to perform any combination of picking, pulling, and building orders, palletizing products, loading, unloading, and staging materials for outgoing delivery, and working any station or line that is assigned. Additionally, warehouse operators are responsible for safely operating various material handling equipment and machinery within a warehouse, cooler, freezer, or dock environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform picking, pulling, and building orders
• Palletize products
• Load, unload, and stage materials for outgoing delivery
• Work at any assigned station or line
• Safely operate material handling equipment and machinery in warehouse, cooler, freezer, or dock environments

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background, and criminal checks
• Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach, and bend virtually the entire shift
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary and manually stack and move cases up to 6–8 cases high
• Must be able to work in a wet environment and in an environment where temperature is maintained at 35–40°F
• Willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays
• May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals

CDL and Pay

• CDL required as soon as the applicant can acquire it; if CDL holder, an additional $1.00 per hour
• Cooler Relief position can make up to $27.37 per hour
• Base pay: $23.26 per hour
• Night shift differential: $0.50 per hour when working majority of shift between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM

Schedule

• 4-day, 10-hour work week
• Days will vary with Relief role
