Cooler Loader/DSD

About the Role

Our DFA/Kemps Dairy has immediate job openings for fast-paced and motivated warehouse operators. As a warehouse operator, you will perform a combination of tasks, including picking, pulling, and building orders, palletizing products, loading, unloading, and staging materials for outgoing delivery. You will also work on various stations or lines as assigned and safely operate material handling equipment and machinery within a warehouse, cooler, freezer, or dock environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate material handling equipment and machinery

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background, criminal checks)

Physical Requirements

• Stand, walk, pull, push, reach, and bend for entire shift
• Lift up to 50 pounds and assist with lifting when necessary
• Manually stack and move cases up to 6-8 cases high
• Work in a wet environment with temperatures maintained at 35-40°F
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays
• Occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals

Pay

$26.90 per hour

Schedule

Start time: 7:00 PM - 3:30 AM, Sunday - Friday, every Saturday off with another rotating day off during the week
