About the role
Ford’s Garage Line cooks are responsible for prepping ingredients and assembling dishes according to Ford’s Garage recipes and specifications. Kitchens can be hot, noisy and stressful places, so you'll need to be able to work efficiently and quickly to be successful as a line cook.
Responsibilities
- Prepares ingredients and assembles dishes according to Ford’s Garage recipes and specifications
- Works in a fast-paced environment, standing for up to 10 hours
- Lifts at least 50 pounds as needed
Requirements
- Knowledge of basic restaurant hospitality and fully engaged, service minded attitude
- Food Safety certification, as required by state law
- Able to communicate effectively (with or without accommodation), including good hearing for safety and accuracy
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Must have reliable transportation
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or High School equivalency preferred
