Cooks Helper

4.5 hours per day (9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.), Monday through Friday, 172 contract days (170 student contact plus 2 inservice days prior to the school year) beginning the 2026-2027 school year.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Cook in daily preparation for lunch service
• Cleaning, dishes, and serving students, parents, faculty, and staff

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Work with cleaning chemicals used in the kitchen
• Work with slicers, ovens, and steam kettles
• Work in extreme temperatures
• Pass a pre-employment physical and criminal background check

Pay

Salary based on the 2025-2027 School Support Employees' Agreement Level II from $18.12 up to $19.63 per hour.
