About the role
We are seeking a talented and creative chef to join our culinary team. This position offers competitive pay starting at $25.00/hour, eligibility for annual raises and bonuses, and daytime Monday-Friday hours (typically 7am - 3pm).
Responsibilities
- Compose and prepare scratch made dishes alongside other culinary professionals.
- Enjoy a competitive salary starting at $25.00/hour.
- Work with a supportive team while enjoying high levels of autonomy.
- Take dishes from start to finish each day, ensuring they are delicious and visually appealing.
- Flex different culinary muscles through catering events and various venues.
- Leverage creativity to reinvent traditional dishes or develop new concepts.
- Enjoy a variety of tasks and opportunities to work with different people, equipment, and ingredients.
- Live affordably in a city known for its rising tech talent, with access to unique experiences like kayaking in Patagonia or attending a Beyoncé concert in Ireland.
- Earn a four-week sabbatical after five years with Epic.
Requirements
- 3+ years cooking in a professional kitchen or a Culinary Arts degree.
- Fine dining, large-volume experience is a plus.
- Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Live within 45 minutes of Epic's Campus in Verona, WI or be willing to relocate.
