Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Running the Machinery that processes the meat into make meal.
• Transferring of hydrolyzed meal to storage.

Requirements

• 6 months continuous work history in 2 years

Physical Demands

• Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• Frequent reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

• Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and extreme heat.
• Frequent exposure to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, and risk of electrical shock.
• Occasional exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, and vibration.
• Noisy environment.

Safety

• Keep work area clean and free of clutter.
• Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Use correct tool for each job assignment.
• Report injury of oneself or coworker to management.
• Report job hazards immediately (correct immediately when possible) and document.
• Inspect all tools and materials for defects and safety issues.
• Follow all safety rules and guidelines.
