About the role

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following all necessary guidelines and regulations
• Cook and prepare food in accordance with established portion control procedures, sanitary regulations, and established policies and procedures
• Work closely with the Executive Chef to create and review menus
• Coordinate food production to coincide with meal serving times ensuring excellence in quality, temperature and appearance are achieved
• Auxiliary duties may include assisting with tray line setup and plate assembly
• Auxiliary duties may include assisting with daily cleaning requirements in the kitchen
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in every daily interaction with guests, their families, and visitors

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• ServSafe certified
• Basic Computer Skills
• At least 2 years of related food experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility, with strong knowledge of food procedures

Pay

• $18.85 per hour starting wages
• $18.00 per hour starting wagesPLUS $0.85 per hour Hero Pay!

Schedule

• 8 hour shifts with rotating weekends and some holidays
• Part Time - Flex Shift will rotate Days and Afternoon shifts
• 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
• 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM
• 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM
• No late nights!
