Pay
$26.00 per hour to $30.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Directly supervise food-service associates in accordance with policies, procedures and applicable laws
- Train employees; plan, assign and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline associates; address complaints and resolve problems
- Advise management of purchasing requirements with a focus on minimizing waste and avoiding product shortages
- Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
- Operate and clean equipment in accordance with department procedures after each use
- Store, label and date food items according to policy; maintain established food rotations in storage in order to minimize spoilage and waste
- Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply
- Operate food-service equipment in a safe manner and according to established policies and procedures
- Help serve meals; remain present during scheduled meal periods to receive customer comments and feedback
- Perform other duties as assigned
