About the role

The Fiesta Mart Cook is responsible for all food items prepared in the restaurant, under the direct supervision of a Restaurant Manager.

Responsibilities

• Portions and prepares food items prior to cooking
• Sautés, fries, or otherwise cooks food on the kitchen line
• Ensures the use of freshest ingredients, follows sanitation guidelines, and prep recipes to standard to maintain product consistency
• Assists customers with orders and serves food to customers if needed
• Fills the display cases as needed
• Assists in the cleaning of the department

Requirements

• Must be able to work a variety of hours, including nights and weekends
• Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required
