Cook in a residential setting, responsible for preparing nutritious and appealing meals for adults with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare menus, including following special diet requirements
• Batch cook, store food properly, and maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Manage inventory and ensure food safety compliance
• Collaborate with direct support staff to create person-centered dining experiences that honor individual preferences, cultural backgrounds, and faith-inspired values

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to prepare meals adhering to dietary and safety standards
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper storage procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with staff and support residents
