Role: Cook in a residential setting for adults with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities Plan and prepare nutritious, appetizing meals following special diet requirements.Follow food safety and sanitation standards.Perform batch cooking, proper food storage, and cleaning of kitchen areas.Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients.Collaborate with direct support staff to create person-centered dining experiences.Respect individual preferences, cultural backgrounds, and faith-inspired values to ensure safe and dignified mealtimes. Qualifications & Skills Experience in meal preparation and kitchen sanitation.Knowledge of dietary needs and food safety standards.Ability to work collaboratively with support staff and residents.Strong organizational skills for inventory and meal planning.Commitment to providing respectful, community-oriented dining experiences.
