About the role
The Cook II will provide courteous, friendly food service while preparing the required portions of food items for both patients and non-patients utilizing Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles during all phases of food handling. Their essential job focus will be on preparing hot and cold food items, using a variety of cooking equipment, while following scratch recipes and department specifications.
Responsibilities
- Prepare hot and cold food items according to department specifications and recipes.
- Follow HACCP principles during all phases of food handling.
- Use a variety of cooking equipment to prepare food items.
- Provide courteous and friendly food service to patients and non-patients.
Requirements
- Two years of quantity food preparation experience.
- Valid National Food Handler Card from state, county, or city authority.

- Coursework/Training - Specific vocational training.
