About the role

Piedmont Rockdale is a 161-bed, acute care, not-for-profit community hospital in Conyers that has provided compassionate, patient-centered care to Rockdale County and surrounding communities since 1954. We offer 24-hour emergency care, plus most major medical, surgical and diagnostic services.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of tasks in the preparation of meals
• Interprets recipes
• Cooks and assembles large volumes of food for the cafeteria, patient, and catering meals

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• One year experience as a cook required (years spent in Culinary School may substitute for years of experience)
• No licensure/certification required by law
• Serve Safe certification preferred
