Cook- PRN

About the Role

This individual is responsible for food production in all areas of the department. A knowledge of all methods of cookery is required for this position. The candidate must be able to produce a quality, eye-appealing product within an allotted amount of time. Performs related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Operate all food preparation equipment including oven, grill, chopper, slicer, blender, mixer, and steamer.
• Push, pull, and grip up to 50 pounds and pinch up to 10 pounds.

Requirements

• Food Handler license within 180 days of employment.
• 2 or more years of food service experience preferred.
• Excellent integrity, initiative, and good moral character.
• Effective communication in English, both orally and written.
• Basic math skills and strong time management abilities.
• Great interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Serve Safe Certification.
