Responsibilities

  • Affirms all dietary procedures.
  • Maintains safety and effectiveness in operating all kitchen equipment.
  • Supports the establishment of food production lines to ensure timely meal preparation.
  • Projects the community positively and with pride during interactions with potential residents and families.
  • Cooking nutritious meals with high-quality presentation and flavorful dishes for residents.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Culinary Arts training preferred.
  • Two years of dietary experience.
  • Knowledge of dietary procedures, relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Leadership skills and ability to work harmoniously with and supervise staff.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Standing position required, may involve prolonged standing.
