Responsibilities

  • Prepare menu items utilizing cooking equipment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Receive verbal orders from the front counter staff for food product requirements for guest orders.
  • Maintain quality and production standards on all menu items.
  • Ensure food is fresh and of high quality when served to guests.
  • Manage portion control and serving temperatures of all products served in the concession stand.
  • Clean, stock, and restock workstations and displays.
  • Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, and ovens.
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
  • Show excellent attendance and be checked out by the Floor Supervisor before ending the shift.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as prep cook or line cook highly desired.
  • A High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, respectfully, and professionally with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests.
  • Strong teamwork and adaptability skills, especially in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Possession of a valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations.
