About the role

We are looking for a Cook to join our team and prepare hot and cold menu items in a senior living community.

Schedule

Part-time, Fridays and Saturdays, 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM (weekends and holidays).

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold menu items, working on the grill, sauté station, salad bar, and service line.
• Ensure proper preparation, portioning, and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and standardized recipes.
• Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Senior Living preferred.
• Experience with production methods, portion control, and food handling safety required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and presentation of food product is required.
• Must be able to work weekends.
