Cook (Part-time)

The Salvation Army Addiction Treatment Services (ATS) is seeking a part-time Cook position (5 hours/wk, Monday evenings).

About the role

• Under the direction of the Food Service Coordinator, carries out all standards and procedures established.
• Prepares evening meals.
• Provides supervision and training to residents assigned to the kitchen.
• Must be able to work independently without assistance in preparing, cooking and serving meals to a large group within the designated meal period times.
• Satisfactory combination of education, training and experience in food service and preparation, purchasing, and sanitation to enable one to assist the head of an institutional dietary service.
• Proven ability to supervise.
