Who You Are Ability to communicate effectively and perform simple arithmetic.A minimum of one year’s experience as a Cook with responsibilities in a hotel, restaurant, club, or similar institutionAbility to plan and organize work, to interpret instructions, recipes, specifications, and standardsKnowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenanceBasic understanding of English General Summary The Cook is responsible for the preparation of all food items as per standardized recipes as well as cleaning duties in the kitchen. Essential Job Duties Maintains assigned workstation in a safe and sanitary condition.Maintains acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code.Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
