Create Joyful Meals: Prepare fresh, flavorful, and memorable dishes that residents love.
Resident Connections: Learn residents’ preferences and dietary needs to make each meal special.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with dining staff, care teams, and leadership to ensure smooth service.
Special Events: Showcase your culinary creativity at community events, celebrations, and gatherings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure food safety and proper storage of all prepared items.
• Communicate with residents to understand their preferences and dietary needs.
• Collaborate with dining staff and care teams to provide a seamless dining experience.
• Assist with special events and celebrations as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on cooking or culinary experience required.
• Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and a passion for serving seniors.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with residents and colleagues.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to help with cleanup and maintain a safe, organized kitchen.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Skills

• Proficiency in basic culinary techniques.
• Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
