Cook - Part-Time

About the role

At CountryHouse Dickinson, an Agemark Senior Living community, we’re looking for a dependable Cook who enjoys preparing great food and creating positive dining experiences. Responsibilities

• Prepare Great Meals: Cook fresh, flavorful meals according to menus, recipes, and residents’ dietary needs.
• Create Positive Experiences: Help make mealtime something residents look forward to each day.
• Support Special Events: Assist with meals for celebrations, community events, and special gatherings.
• Keep It Safe & Clean: Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and follow food safety and sanitation standards.
• Work as a Team: Partner with dining team members and other departments to keep meal service running smoothly.

Requirements

• Cooking Experience: At least one year of hands-on cooking or culinary experience.
• Positive Attitude: A dependable, team-oriented approach and a passion for serving others.
• Strong Communication: Ability to communicate and work well with residents and team members.
• Physical Ability: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Dependability: Ability to work scheduled shifts and help keep dining services running smoothly.
