About the role

At Woburn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, we're committed to providing exceptional care to our residents and patients. As a Cook in our dietary team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that our residents receive delicious and nutritious meals that cater to their individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare meals in accordance with planned menus
• Assist in food preparation for special meals, parties, and events
• Maintain kitchen, food storage, and preparation areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition
• Ensure all food procedures and safety regulations are followed in accordance with established policies
• Assist in inventory and storing food supplies as necessary
• May perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Serve Safe certification preferred
• Prior experience working as a cook is required
• Ability to comply with departmental safety policies and procedures
• Ability to perform work tasks within the physical demand requirements of the position
