Cook - Morning Shift

Pay

Starting hiring pay at $15.50 per hour. Within the first year you can earn up to an additional $1.50 per hour through training, certifications, and performance evaluations.

About the role

As a Cook at Raising Cane’s you will set the pace of the restaurant by ensuring all food meets high standards. The kitchen is a fun, fast‑paced environment where you’ll prepare high‑quality chicken‑finger meals. The position offers promotional opportunities such as Bird Specialist or Certified Trainer. Immediate hiring for entry‑level and experienced cooks, covering opening, closing, and all shifts in between.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to Raising Cane’s standards.
• Clean tables, floors, and other areas of the restaurant.
• Take orders from customers and process payments efficiently.
• Follow proper safety procedures when handling and/or preparing food.
• Multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Lift and carry, push or pull heavy objects up to 50 lb; kneel, bend, twist, stoop; ascend/descend stairs; reach and grasp objects above head and below waistline.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to show up to scheduled shifts on time.
• Provide quick and friendly service to customers.
• Work collaboratively with team members and assist others as needed.
• Perform well under pressure and at a fast pace.
