Cook - Morning Shift

About the role

As a Cook at Raising Cane’s, you will set the pace of the Restaurant by ensuring all of the food we serve meets our high standards. Working in the Kitchen at Raising Cane’s is a fun and fast paced environment. Crank up the music and have some fun while you are working hard to prepare the highest quality chicken finger meals for our customers to enjoy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all food served meets high standards
• Prepare chicken finger meals for customers
• Work in a fast-paced, upbeat environment
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and dining area
• Handle and prepare food safely
• Take orders from customers and process payments
• Collaborate with other crew members to maintain service continuity
• Work all shifts including opening, closing, and everything in between

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Previous experience not required; entry-level position
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to kneel, bend, twist, stoop, ascend or descend stairs
• Must be able to reach and grasp objects, including above head and below waistline
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing
• Must be able to show up to scheduled shifts on time
• Must be able to multitask

Schedule

• Immediate hiring for all shifts including opening, closing, and everything in between

Pay

• Starting pay at $10.50 per hour
• Up to an extra $1.50 per hour in pay increases within the first year through additional training, certifications, and performance evaluations
