Cook / Manager Needed for School Food Service

About the role

Cook/Manager needed for a school food service program in the Annandale, NJ area. K‑12 experience is a plus. Position is part‑time, day shift (5‑6 hours daily), Monday through Friday, with no weekends, holidays, or summer work.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation
• Cooking
• POS systems operation
• Following recipes according to NSLP guidelines
• Stocking and ordering supplies
• Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen
• Adhering to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations
• Ensuring personal protective equipment is used at all times
• Managing inventories
• Overseeing kitchen area and staff
