Responsibilities
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare and cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards
- Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely and consistent manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and kitchen
- Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations at all times
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Communicate clearly with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team
- Help with cleaning duties at the end of shifts or as directed
- Report any equipment issues or shortages to the supervisor
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a line cook or prep cook preferred
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards
- Ability to follow recipes and multi-task under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
