About the role

As a Cook at Jia, you will bring skill and speed to one of the most dynamic kitchens on property. Our four-diamond Asian Fusion restaurant is known for bold flavors, elegant presentation, and unforgettable guest experiences. From intricately plated dishes to fast-paced service, your role helps bring the menu to life in a high-volume, high-standard kitchen where every plate tells a story.

Responsibilities

• Show your culinary passion by crafting various menu items while following set recipes and standards.
• Consistently maintain proper stocking, cleanliness, and sanitation of back-of-house areas.
• Ensure guest safety by following proper food handling procedures.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of fine dining culinary techniques.
• Practice seafood handling skills and shuck oysters as needed.

Requirements

• Meets the minimum age requirement of 18+ years of age.
• Exhibits 2+ years of culinary experience in a line cook setting, preferably.
• Demonstrates experience on fry, sauté, grill, and other kitchen stations.

Pay

$18.95 an hour

Schedule

• Swing Shift | Full Time: 1:00 PM (earliest) – 11:00 PM (latest) (scheduled in 8-hour shifts).
• Days off: Wednesday & Thursday.
• Must be open and flexible to work outside of the primary schedule based on business needs.
