Our Panda Shift Leaders are central figures in our fast-paced, growth-oriented environment, responsible for creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Support in creating a vibrant and welcoming environment for our guests.
- Gain valuable skills managing store operations and leading the team during the shift.
- Gain hands-on experience in cooking and preparing Panda favorites for our guests.
- Gain a diverse range of skills to develop yourself and others.
Qualifications
- Education and Experience:
- Some high school education.
- Prioritize some operations experience.
- Food Safety: Acquire local/municipal Food Handler certification at your own expense.
ADA Statement: Counter areas can be hot due to steam from steam tables and food vapors. Workspaces are restricted, and employees are typically required to stand for extended periods. Employees must prepare hot and cold foods, use kitchen equipment like a Chinese cook knife, and work quickly without sacrificing accuracy. They must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for up to four hours, and reach across counters at 36 inches to serve customers. Kitchens are hot and noisy, with limited storage space and high shelving.
Employees must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively, adapt to a dynamic setting with shifting priorities, and manage conflicts and difficult situations.
