Our Panda Shift Leaders are central figures in our fast-paced and growth-oriented environment, responsible for creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Support in creating a vibrant and welcoming environment for our guests.
- Gain valuable skills managing store operations and leading the team during the shift.
- Gain hands-on experience in cooking and preparing Panda favorites for our guests.
- Gain a diverse range of skills to develop yourself and others.
Qualifications
- Education and Experience:
- Some high school education.
- Prioritize some operations experience.
- Food Safety: Acquire local/municipal Food Handler certification at your own expense.
ADA Statement: Counter areas can be hot with steam from steam tables and food vapors. Workspaces are restricted, and employees are generally expected to stand for long periods. Employees must prepare hot and cold foods, use Chinese cook knives and other kitchen equipment, and work quickly without losing accuracy. They must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for up to four hours, and reach across counters measured at 36 inches to serve customers. Kitchens are hot and noisy, with limited storage space and high shelving.
Additional Skills Required: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively, adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities, and manage conflicts/difficult situations.
