As a Shift Leader, you will embrace a central role in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment. Responsibilities
- Support in creating a vibrant and welcoming environment for our guests.
- Manage store operations and lead the team during shifts.
- Gain hands-on experience in cooking and preparing Panda favorites for our guests.
- Develop a diverse range of skills to grow yourself and others.
Requirements
- Some high school education.
- Preferred: some operations experience.
- Food Safety: Must meet local/municipal requirements, such as obtaining a Food Handler certification at the applicant’s own expense.
Work Environment
While performing duties, counter areas are often hot with steam from steam tables and food vapors. The workspace is restricted, and employees are generally expected to remain standing for long periods of time. Key physical demands include:
- Preparing hot and cold foods, using a Chinese cook knife and other kitchen equipment while working quickly and accurately.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Standing for up to four hours and reaching across countertops measured at 36 inches to serve customers.
- Working in hot kitchens with high noise levels, limited storage space, and high shelving.
