About the role

Kadima at Greenville is seeking compassionate, caring individuals to prepare food and lead the dietary team, ensuring quality food service for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus; make only authorized food substitutes.
• Prepare and serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Serve food following established portion control procedures.
• Prepare food for therapeutic diets as directed by planned menus.
• Assume responsibility for the tray line and serve on the tray line as needed.
• Prepare food using standardized recipes and special diet orders.
• Inspect special diet trays to ensure correct diets are served.
• Prepare and serve residents’ nutritional bedtime snacks.
• Ensure appropriate equipment and utensils are provided with each meal.
• Direct, evaluate, and monitor staff assigned to the department, including issuing disciplinary actions and performing probationary and annual evaluations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
