Join HMR Veteran's Services and make a difference in the lives of our Nation's Heroes. This role focuses on preparing meals for Veteran residents, meeting their individual needs, and contributing to special events.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for Veteran residents according to their individual needs.
• Prepare meals for special events as required.
• Ensure the highest quality of prepared food items and excellent service to residents.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards in the Dietary Services Department.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and hygienic practices.
• One year of cooking experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, but other cooking experience or successful completion of a cook's training program (not just a class) will be considered.
