Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines.
- Set up, stock, and maintain a clean and organized work station during service.
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and consistency throughout preparation and plating.
- Support efficient kitchen operations by communicating effectively with team members and leadership.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Aid in receiving, storing, rotating, and labeling ingredients and supplies.
- Help maintain equipment, tools, and kitchen areas in proper working condition.
- Adapt to changing priorities and assist with additional kitchen tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented, guest-focused environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and repetitive motions.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
