COOK (Full-Time) Varied hours between 5am-630pm

Arrowhead Behavioral Health is a 48-bed private, free-standing psychiatric hospital located in Maumee, OH. We offer a private, confidential, and non-institutional environment conducive to healing and recovery, providing a variety of specialized services for adults.

About the role

This position prepares, cooks, and serves food to hospital patients and staff. You will also be responsible for cleaning the dining room, serving line, and kitchen before leaving at the end of your shift.

• Clean dining room, serving line, and kitchen at the end of each shift

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Serve Safe certification is required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Diplomacy, discretion, and strong organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects
• Must be able to work weekends

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to stand and walk
• Occasionally required to sit
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to push and pull carts, brooms, and mops
• Professional demeanor and appearance

Previous experience in a hospital setting or mental health/substance abuse treatment facility is preferred but not required. We will train the right person willing to learn.

Schedule

Scheduled 8-hour shift between the hours of 5:00 AM – 6:30 PM (varies). Must be able to work weekends.
