About the role

Avalon Square has openings for a Full-Time Cook. The hours are 6am-2:30pm and 10:30am-7pm, every other weekend with holiday rotation. Conveniently located in downtown Waukesha, Avalon Square offers senior living steps from all the city has to offer. Residents, staff, and family create a welcoming, fun, and purposeful environment.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality meals and dining experiences by preparing and serving attractive, nutritious, and palatable meals.
• Ensure meals comply with regulations and established policies, procedures, and best practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Knowledge of State and Federal food-handling regulations, including food service operations (strongly desired).
• Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to communicate effectively with all customers.

Pay

$18.33 - $20.73+/hour, based on experience.

Schedule

• Full-time: 6am-2:30pm or 10:30am-7pm.
• Every other weekend with holiday rotation.
