About the role

Centered in the heart of Montebello, Adventist Health White Memorial Montebello has a 70-year history of providing quality healthcare to the community. We are comprised of a 192-bed hospital, wound care medical office and surgical and laboratory services. Responsibilities

• Prepares food for patients, customers and catered events in a consistent and efficient manner by utilizing food production standards and food safety procedures.
• Cleans, dish washes, and sanitizes dishware and equipment.
• Prepares and serves food items for customers and catering.
• Assists in overseeing the kitchen and facility operations.
• Provides products for customers and communicates needs to department head.

Requirements

• Education and Work Experience: High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred Associate’s/Technical Degree in culinary arts or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
• Licenses/Certifications: SERV Safe certification or equivalent: Preferred Facility Specific License/Certifications: Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS): Required
