Position Details

Location: Mercy Hospital Southeast
Address: 1701 Lacey Street, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701
Hours/Schedule: Full-Time (40-hrs per week) Varies/Rotating

Qualifications

• No formal education required
• Food Handler license within 180 days
• 2 or more years of food service experience preferred
• No certifications required

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

• Excellent integrity
• Takes initiative
• Good moral character
• Effectively communicates in English, both orally and written
• Basic math skills
• Time management skills
• Great interpersonal skills

Equipment Used

• All food preparation equipment including oven, grill, chopper, slicer, blender, mixer, and steamer
• Able to push, pull and grip 50 pounds and pinch 10 pounds

Preferred Education and Experience

• Prior high school diploma or equivalent
• Serve Safe Certification preferred
