Cook for Child Care/Preschool

About This Role

Warwick River Christian is seeking an experienced and dependable Cook to join our preschool and childcare program. The Cook will be responsible for preparing nutritious and child-friendly morning snacks, lunches, and afternoon snacks for our young children. The ideal candidate should enjoy working around children, have experience preparing meals in a school, childcare, or similar setting, and be committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.

What You'll Do

• Create appropriate menus for children 2 1/2 to 8 years of age.
• Generate shopping lists/order food items.
• Prepare daily morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack for approximately 70 children.
• Responsible for preparing, serving, and cleaning up after all snack/meal times.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
• Remain compliant with all Health Dept. regulations.

Requirements

• Experience preparing meals for approximately 70 children.
• Knowledge of safe food preparation and handling.

Pay

Compensation based upon experience.
