Cook - Dinner/Close Shift

About the role

As a Cook at Raising Cane’s, you will set the pace of the Restaurant by ensuring all of the food we serve meets our high standards. Working in the Kitchen at Raising Cane’s is a fun and fast paced environment. Crank up the music and have some fun while you are working hard to prepare the highest quality chicken finger meals for our customers to enjoy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all food served meets high standards
• Prepare chicken finger meals quickly and efficiently
• Work all shifts: opening, closing, and everything in between
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
• Show up to scheduled shifts on time
• Handle and prepare food safely
• Take orders from customers and process payments
• Work as part of a team, assisting other crew members
• Work under pressure and at a fast pace

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to kneel, bend, twist, or stoop
• Must be able to ascend or descend stairs
• Must be able to reach and grasp objects (above head and below waistline)
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to multitask

Schedule

• Immediate hiring for all shifts: opening, closing, and everything in between

Pay

• Starting pay at $14.00 per hour
• Up to an extra $1.50 per hour in pay increases through additional training, certifications, and performance evaluations within the first year

Benefits

• Additional $1 per hour after 10pm
• Must satisfy hours requirement per year
