About the role

The cook will be responsible for preparing and plating food for meals and special events, and accommodating residents' dietary needs as required.

Requirements

• Certification: Food Safety certification, preferred
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years as a cook in a fast-paced setting
• Physical requirements: Lifting trays and dishes, occasionally moving dining tables and furniture
• Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
• Punctuality & reliability: Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our associates to deliver on this promise.

Pay

Pay Range: $19 - $20 per hour

Schedule

Available shifts: Per Diem as needed coverage with full-time hours from May-August to cover a leave of absence: 5 days per week of 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM with one weekend day.
