Responsibilities
- Prepare and oversee production of approximately 400 school meals daily
- Teach adults with IDD culinary, food preparation, and kitchen safety skills
- Supervise daily kitchen operations
- Maintain food inventory and storage
- Place food and supply orders
- Develop menus and perform food cost analysis
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Work collaboratively with a small, mission-driven team
Qualifications
- Candidate must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma/GED is required
- Valid driver's license is required
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen or food service operation
- Experience with inventory management and food ordering
- Experience with menu planning and food cost analysis
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Positive attitude and ability to teach and encourage others
- ServSafe certification preferred
